the role as key leader provides you with life-altering development while working alongside your store manager. the key leader plays a role in ensuring optimal operations are executed alongside an exceptional guest experience. you play a key role in the development and training of connectors. you contribute to building future leaders and capabilities within the store to drive strategy and achieve results. under the supervision of the store manager, you support the day to day leadership and key operations of the store. you embody our core value and culture, ensuring that this shows up in all key areas of the business. you are committed to creating beautiful experience with those around you.

what you’ll be doing

  • passionately lead your team's guest experience by example
  • are an advocate for bluboho’s core values and key culture pieces
  • oversee the execution of certain deliverables with the assistance of your store manager
  • assist in the daily operational tasks ensuring these are executed with a sense of urgency and timely manner with accuracy top of mind
  • are a source of fun and energizing spirit on the floor
  • you represent the store at all required meetings and development days
  • you act as a coach and mentor to all connectors
  • you assist with the hiring and training of new connectors
  • you seek development opportunities within the company and are constantly on the hunt for reading materials and podcasts that will further this
  • sales performance of the store is top of mind, you are constantly re-inventing the wheel to drive the business forward
  • you contribute with new and inventive ideas for merchandising, guest experience and our beloved experience
  • enrolled in latest product drops and act as a liaise to provide information to your team to get them excited
  • delegate tasks and assist in keeping the store in optimal shape and cleanliness
  • responsible for managing the floor and guest experience when the manager is not present

what you’ll bring

  • minimum 3 years work experience in retail
  • 2 years experience in leadership position preferred
  • bachelor’s degree in business, retail or related field an asset
  • working knowledge of ms office (word, excel and outlook)
  • detail oriented and highly organized with strong time management skills
  • ability to multi task and balance multiple projects, plans and people development
  • a passion for problem solving, brainstorming and being resourceful and creative
  • you know how to have fun
  • passionate about jewelry and fashion trends
  • exceptional decision making skills
  • entrepreneurial, proactive and solution oriented
  • ability to identify each guest’s individual needs
  • a friendly and approachable personality
