As social media coordinator, your key objective is to conceptualize and develop and manage all social media content across all platforms, while maintaining an exception digital experience for our guests.

Your key responsibilities:

As social media coordinator, you recognize that your job is unique in the sense that you will be required to post on platforms throughout the day – anywhere from as early as 7:30am to 8pm. You have a strong sense for the ever-changing world of social media and are keen to discover creative ways to engage our community while remaining integral with our core values and mission. Most importantly, you understand the impact each tiny detail has in creating healthy financial results for our e-com and brick and mortar stores. You are continually pushing the boundaries to create exceptional results with your creative capabilities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • you are the voice of bluboho; you have excellent communication skills and are able to express our company’s views creatively
  • you are able to manage multiple platforms and are quick to streamline process’ for an easier guest experience
  • your engagement with our guests is timely and provides a romanticized and educational approach to continue to inspire and elevate the experience
  • you are creative with the conceptualization and execution of social media campaigns that look for ways to increase engagement and user-generated content
  • you are a pillar in support of projects that will enhance and engage our social community
  • you work with like minded influencers and other brands to generate monthly giveaway and/or collaborations, tracking their results and measuring this across all platforms
  • develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • your create a digital content calendar that is used to measure your progress and results through strategic planning and execution
  • oversee digital platform layouts and collaborate with appropriate team members
  • assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • you support the conceptualization and execution of quarterly photo shoots
  • you are continually building relationships by following like-minded accounts and liking/commenting on posts when appropriate
  • you look for ways to thoughtfully and strategically introduce new guests to the brand
  • when you see a problem you are creative and timely with a solution
  • you are able to identify ongoing and upcoming digital trends that are relevant to bluboho
  • generate, edit, publish and share engaging and innovative content daily
  • you are creative with the social media campaigns that are executed and look for ways to increase engagement and user-generated content
  • you come prepared to discuss trends in guest conversations and share this with your leadership team
  • collaborate with other teams to ensure brand consistency

What you’ll bring: 

  • BS degree in Marketing, New Media or relevant field
  • proven work in a social media role *min 2 years experience preferred
  • minimum 3 years customer service experience
  • ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • expert knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • knowledge of online marketing channels
  • experience creating and executing a results driven digital content calendar
  • comfort working in a fast paced and ever changing environment
  • excellent written communication to ensure accuracy when communicating with guests and creating social content
  • passionate about digital engagement with a strong social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and guest engagement
  • knowledge of current and upcoming social platforms
  • experience in managing multiple projects on an ongoing basis
  • an entrepreneurial spirit that is eager to discover hidden gems with a clear vision on how your day to day impacts the bottom line
  • university or college degree in marketing communications or similar degree
