The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of bluboho.com. This role will lead a team of web connectors that provide a unique guest experience for all our online guests, while maintaining operational excellence for our online business. You are responsible to ensure the team is supported + supporting execution of the overall ecommerce/digital strategy.

You understand that producing + driving results for and with your team will require strong collaboration with a focus on the successful daily functionality of our website, and having the right players in the right seat of the bus to do so. 

What you’ll be doing:  

  • Website Management: maintain + update the ecommerce platform, ensuring it remains user-friendly, secure and optimized for SEO, in partnership with the marketing team  
  • Lead e-commerce operations: mentor and manage the team to maintain site performance, provide best-in-class guest experience, fulfill and ship orders in a productive, timely and cost-efficient manner. 
  • Product profile management: creating new profiles, updating, and reviewing older  product, ship date management 
  • Monitor progress of orders and identify opportunities while proactively addressing and resolving alongside your team to ensure the guest experience is always top of  mind 
  • Build and Lead a first in class web store team: Conduct regular team meetings to establish quarterly/weekly/ daily goals and delegate assignments to team members accordingly; empowering the team to live into strengths and foster a performance mindset 
  • Lead recruitment for new web store team members; leveraging your foresight into future business/staffing needs and creating a talent pipeline to support 
  • Provide support to your team, whether it be with guest experience, remerchandising  collection pages, or picking and packing on a high order volume day 
  • Coach, manage, mentor and onboard new and existing team members to ensure that they are clear on how to succeed, including identifying and developing internal talent for future roles
  • Implementing departmental training and job rotation activities, initiate plans to  motivate team members, administer performance management (coaching and  accountability) 
  • Train web connectors and create proper execution of standard operating procedures  (SOP’s) for our online store 
  • Ensure team is following all SOP’s and verify the accuracy and completeness of all  guest communications, order fulfillment, stock transfers to stores and online  exchanges/returns 
  • Market research; identify unique online selling tactics that will empower the team  to convert all guest interactions into sales 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to promote sales + guest engagement 
  • Inventory management; collaboratively perform quarterly inventory counts, weekly cycle counts and restocking lists with the team, communicating all discrepancies  with the marketing/production team 
  • Data Analysis + Reporting: Prepare and generate weekly productivity reports, monitoring and reporting to the VP Operations, to drive achievement of work Objectives and KPIs

 

What you’ll bring:  

Required: 

  • Minimum 2 years Ecommerce and Retail Management experience  
  • Experience using Shopify/Shopify Plus platform 
  • Strong experience + proven results in managing customer relations 
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and relationship management skills, with the ability to drive results by leading/collaborating with direct reports and cross-functional teams 
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail 
  • Proven success in driving ecommerce results 
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and effectively communicate in a fast-paced environment 
  • Adaptable to change and receptive to feedback and suggestions 
  • A natural curiosity and vision for the evolution of retail and a view that guests can have same or better online experiences, as we offer in store

Preferred:  

  • University Degree in Business or Marketing 
  • Experience working in a retail luxury goods or fine jewelry organization
