The Production Assistant is an integral part of a fast-moving cross-functional team. This role is responsible for supporting our production team in the day-to-day operations of production services, as well as store teams by aiding in guest product service requests. The Production Assistant will also work closely with our Production Coordinator and external suppliers to ensure product and work orders are completed and delivered to our stores and guests in a timely manner.

what you’ll be doing:

• Support in receiving inventory into warehouse stock and tagging product
• Pull warehouse stock to fulfill store allocations in a timely manner
• Create transfers and ensure they are sent to stores on time daily/weekly
• Maintain warehouse stock inventory, including weekly cycle counts
• Support in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and frequently asked questions (FAQ’s) documentation that serve as a resource for our internal and external teams/partners
• Ensure all service aspects of production are executed to provide an exceptional guest experience (engravings, repairs, resizes, custom pieces etc.)
• Monitor timelines on work orders and communicate with store teams to maintain a positive and seamless guest experience
• Quality assurance of current products, and always working to create higher quality standards for our in-house lines and curated pieces
• Support the Production Coordinator in serving as an additional point of contact for all questions from store teams on all product services
• Support in other production service duties as needed

what you’ll bring:

required:

• 1-2 years’ experience in a production role – preferably in the jewellery industry
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Experience and understanding of manufacturing, supply chain operations and distribution
• Ability to multi-task, and manage multiple, competing requests with a high sense of urgency
• Eager and willing to take initiative, ownership and accountability for all production service tasks
• Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively with a team
• Eager to take on new challenges, introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, grow, test, and learn
