The Regional Manager of Operations oversees all aspects of store performance and is responsible for creating the overall vision for each store in their region, keeping our core values and culture in mind. In true bluboho nature, the Regional Manager of Operations has an entrepreneurial spirit like no other. Driving their region to own, meet and exceed sales and metric goals, and guiding their team in addressing and overcoming store performance challenges to achieve operational excellence. The Regional Manager of Operations will ensure their team is proactively building their sales and conversion by localizing and tailoring their merchandising to their customers’ wants and needs and maximizing profitability while maintaining a healthy balance sheet.

You have an innate ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships to create solutions and plan for the future. This individual will brilliantly shift gears to respond to sudden changes or demands in the business and teaches their team how to pivot effectively, staying flexible to the ever-evolving retail landscape.
What you’ll be doing:
Guest Experience
- Developing a multi-store business through ensuring our unique guest and store experience are
- consistently exceeding guest expectations
- Managing the guest experience with Store Managers to ensure the same experience is replicated

Working closely with all internal partners to ensure guideline/procedures are followed and budgets are adhered to

Coordinate in-store needs for new collection campaigns and events – i.e. new product launches, sales incentives, and peak season sales support;

Establish and foster strong relationships with store management and store teams through regular store visits
-
Maintain accurate and organized information and reporting at the store, and regional level
-
Develop store-level strategies to support the achievement of each store’s financial, operational, and guest experience goals, while addressing each store’s unique strengths and challenges

Develop strategy and support Store Managers in growing and strengthening the store network in the region, including community outreach and events

Collaborate with our Marketing Team to assist with in-store marketing materials designed to help the team meet and exceed company sales goals, and maximize brand exposure and awareness

Develop a growth plan and support the Director of Operations in growing and strengthening the store network in the region, including new store openings and pop-up opportunities
Sales

Support your team in achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals within region as specified by the Director of Operations

Monitor results at store and regional level, and develop/implement action plans as required

Communicate and collaborate with the store team to drive and grow business and review sales trends and seasonal projections with management, advising store management of potential challenges

Update store teams on new product launches, advertising, technical information – i.e., utilizing all tools to maximize the sales potential

Support Store Managers in setting sales and KPI goals, budgets, objectives, and marketing plans for their stores

Create a business plan, budgets, and sales strategy for the short and long-term development and growth of the region
People

Responsible for the performance and development of Store Managers through thoughtful recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, coaching, management, reviews, and performance management of the team

Conduct regular and ongoing training, both informal in-store and formal regional training

Motivate, coach and strengthen Store Managers as team leaders and business owners
-
Provide timely feedback and follow-up, and approach difficult conversations as an opportunity for growth.
What you’ll bring
Required:

5+ years of retail store management experience, with a strong operations background
-
Ability to work a full-time schedule including varied hours/days including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Willingness and ability to travel

Self-starter with strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills

Passion for a unique guest experience

An ability to integrate a fun, mindful and positive working atmosphere

Communication that is led with honesty and kindness

Highly motivated, able to set priorities and react accordingly

Ability to work with all levels of organization to build partnerships

Ability to promote cross functional relationships that encourage a multi-store team environment – a ‘one team’ mindset Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business considered an asset

Experience working in a retail luxury goods or fine jewellery organization
