as a key member of our team of the ecommerce business team, the ecommerce connector, must have a love for jewelry and connecting with people, salesmanship, organization and problem-solving skills. you are the primary contact for guest inquiries, providing knowledgeable answers to guest questions via phone, email, live chat and direct messaging regarding our brand, product and services with a sense of urgency. you are responsible for the guest service experience from point to purchase, order fulfilment, post service care and beyond!

this role is designed for someone who is results-oriented, able to make fast decisions independently and is driven by a strong sense of ownership and accountability. our ecommerce connector will have an entrepreneurial spirit; love of jewelry and care for our community and environment. you work well independently but are also a team-player who is eager to collaborate and make the impossible happen! you are extremely organized, juggling multiple ongoing tasks on the fly and prioritize accordingly. you recognize that no two guests are alike and live in the grey to find the best solution suited for them. you are able to identify opportunities and are quick to jump into action; you are solution-focused and results-driven. you are eager to work in a company that offers exciting challenges & certain developmental opportunities through our pipeline. you will be reporting into the ecommerce operations manager.

what you’ll be doing:

guest experience 60%

  • create a welcoming online guest experience that cultivates long-lasting & meaningful relationships with our guests & community through all communication channels (phone, email, live chat, direct messaging)
  • drive sales and overall store success by working towards reaching daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
  • respond to all guest and community inquires within 24-48 hours
  • coordinate customer virtual appointments, exchange, returns, and repairs
  • support virtual appointments by offering styling support, suggestive selling & storytelling through our pieces, suggestive selling
  • capture points of friction as it relates to the online user experience (guest feedback) and relay to appropriate teams in a timely manner
  • work cross functionally by liaising with our production and marketing departments on a daily basis
  • attend & actively participate in daily e-commerce business recap and initiatives meeting
  • lead and execute crm activities to engage active, lapsed and top guest portfolios

order fulfillment 20%

  • packing and fulfilling online orders with love, care and accuracy within a 24-48 hour timeframe
  • follow up on outstanding orders; communicating with appropriate departments
  • maintain close communication with shipping carriers to process claims for missing or lost shipments

operations 20%

  • inventory management (perform cycle counts, maintain organization, manage transfers, purchase orders, cleaning and quality assurance)
  • maintain, update and create shopify product profiles, product pages
  • execute strategic, weekly and daily online re-merchandising (new releases, collection pages, category) based on business initiatives and sell through

what you’ll bring

  • 2-3 years experience within an ecommerce business
  • 1-2 years experience working with shopify
  • proficiency in mac hardware/software, microsoft software, google analytics, crm platforms
  • ux/ui is design competency would be considered an asset
  • ability to work in a team environment and create results within a fast-paced work environment
  • ability to interact with all levels of an organization
