everything about it is so me. i'd gone to so many places to try on rings but loved bluboho because I didn't want something too traditional and because the rings you carry are just special. as soon as I tried on my ring, nish's jaw dropped. I think the green is so beautiful, it's perfect on my skin tone. I didn't realize he'd bought it so I was so excited when he presented me with it in tulum. honestly I can't imagine a ring more suited to me, I feel like it captures my essence and our relationship perfectly, which is just so far from traditional
to quote Monica, we had a variation of "friends first, drunk in London, you know the story". jokes aside, nish and I met in university and became really close friends but had chemistry pretty early on. we acted on it a few months into our friendship but kept it a secret/didn't have a real conversation about what we were for a long time.
he proposed In tulum, in the most on-brand way I could have hoped for. tulum is my favourite place in the world, nish surprised me by proposing on this beautiful nest on a hotel rooftop which had the most insane view. oh and he did it at sunset. all those years of being an IG husband really paid off, he nailed it. the full story is on my blog :)
